thumbs up/down....

this is something i started a couple years ago; it's all about giving a thumbs up or thumbs down to any situation. it's pretty fun...


Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down...

to being the oldest person at the Making the Band Tour? i guess i should have assumed that this would be the case; but i thought other 30 something females would love danity kane as much as i do. they are good blend of poppy, promiscuous ladies who can actually sing and dance. their music is over produced but incredibility fun to dance to. they star along side the glorious p. diddy on one of the funnest shows on tv - Making the Band.

boy was i mistaken!

the average age of the crowd was about 17 and they were loud, annoying and they made me feel OLD! the audience style was also horrible - too many bubble minis and low rise jeans for my taste. i will say that people definitely dressed up and tried to look their best, so who am i to judge.

once DK hit the stage, how cared about age! they were just as easy and fun as ever. all in all it was a good time. i was right along side the 17 year old girls jumping up and down singing damaged on the top of my lungs!

so i have to say thumbs down for being the oldest person in the room but thumbs up for fun pop music and a funky ass beat i can dance to!!!

it was like a dream

i saw oprah on the street yesterday; she was coming from the hearst magazine building. she said hi to me... before i said hi to her!! it was like she felt the bond i have always felt with the O. i obviously called everyone i knew and someone asked if she was like seeing god or just a normal person. i think she wants to be a regular person; but she's like seeing god! love her!

i've finally done it...

hi everyone,
welcome to my world and thanks for checking this out. i've been thinking about a blog for a long time and am excited to actually get one off the ground! i'm not quite sure what it will evolve into but i'm hoping to have it be a mix of all my favorite things: pop culture, fashion, tv, etc...

since graduating i have been working a desk job and am always looking for a happy little escape to my otherwise boring day. this is what i'm hoping learn about it can be for us.
